Beth's Review .... We arrived at night tired from our journey and couldn't see what was all around us. When we woke up...wow!! The waterfront location make this space very special. It is sunny, light and airy, bright and happy furnishings and has a big balcony that we enjoyed throughout the whole stay. The location couldn't be better. Rincon is magical. You will understand once you explore and interact with the people. The Sunday farmer's market and the Thursday Art Walk are must do's. We will be back soon!!

Anonymous HomeAway Guest ..... My husband and I wanted to get away for our 30th anniversary.... what a beautiful place! We had to bump up our plans due to a family situation. It was a last minute booking and couldn’t have been easier. Laly, the property manager was very prompt in getting back to us. It was the “slow” season in Rincon.... and I loved it. The house has a view that is truly beautiful. We spent 90% of our time at the house, which is unusual for us. I watched the sunsets every night. The house only has two apartments, which allowed for privacy, which is what we were looking for... considering it was our 30th... 😉?. Planning on coming to stay here again..... sooner rather than later. Thank for your hospitality and your beautiful beach house!

Anh's Review ... The beach, the check-in, and the communication is everything of why you should stay at the windsurfer apartments at the Rincon pools. The apartment is so cute! We loved everything about it. The beach is perfect for my 3 year old toddler to swim in. Water is warm and clear :). We had an issue with the A/C when we arrived but it was resolved quickly. I appreciate Laly and Cynthia on their quick responses.”

Bonnie's Review .... The apartments were clean and well stocked with everything that you would need to stay happy and healthy for a long period of time.  The private beach was amazing and only down a flight of stairs.  There is no reason to go anywhere once you have shopped for food.  However, we spent some time walking to the street coffee shop and Pools restaurant.  The views are amazing from the balconies from both apartments.  The hammocks did it for us.  We ended each day relaxing and reading swinging to the sound of the waves.  We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay to decompress; falling asleep to the sound of the water crashing into the rocks.  Lovely place and we will be back.

Natalia’s review .... “We arrived to the place at night, and slept to the sound of the ocean. When we woke up in the morning and stepped out on the balcony with coffees in hand, we were mesmerized by the beautiful and quiet beach. We spent lots of time on the balcony every morning watching pelicans look for fish, surfers catch waves and palm trees sway. Except for the occasional surfer, the beach at the property is very quiet. The house is walking distance to restaurants, bars, and a small convenience shop. The host left us a binder full of some great suggestions on where to go for food, beach, etc. We were also a few minutes away from Steps Beach, which has amazing snorkeling. If you want to see an extensive coral reef with a diverse variety of fish without swimming out far, definitely go. A lot of the beaches in the area have waves, which makes this a great surfer town, but we found a beach called Balneário de Rincón which had natural shade in the morning and calm waters for wading. We truly felt like we were able to disconnect from our busy NYC lives and are so happy we stayed at this property.”

My husband and I stayed at the Pools Beach Apt (AKA the Pink House) and we loved it!  Falling asleep to the ocean is perfection!  Being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine while watching the surfers was an added bonus!  We were in walking distance to several different beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping. I would recommend this apartment to anyone, I know we will be back!

Lindsay's Airbnb Review ... The house and location are wonderful. We stayed with our two boys ages 2 and 5. They loved the access to the beach and watching their dad surf from the balcony. The beach is sandy (great for sunbathing or building sand castles) There are also rocks to climb on and interesting sea life if you snorkel. We saw urchins (don’t touch!!), an eel, iguanas, and a whale without ever having to leave the property! The beach was clean, and never crowded even though we were there during spring break. We also loved the hammocks and outdoor hose/shower area. It made clean-up a breeze. I was nervous about the balcony with kids, but the doors to the lock very securely, so it was no problem at all. We did a grocery run the first day and did most meals in (the house was stocked with everything we needed), but when we did dine out, one of Rincon’s best restaurants (Tamboo) is just down the street. We also made the very short walk to Jake’s Java a few mornings for some amazing smoothies. Check-in/out was simple. The parking area is very nice and there is a gate. Don’t hesitate on this place.

Sally H. ...Little slice of Heaven! Loved this Little slice of Heaven. Apartment is very clean with everything you need for vacation..full kitchen, two baths and comfortable beds. I could sit on the balcony ALL DAY LONG and enjoy the views and tranquility!!! Easy access to bars and food and the beach is just step away. It was great having onsite private parking. Hope to return many times.

Leslie C. ...Private Birds Nest in the Heart of Rincon! Rented one of the two apartments in this classic building during my first stay in Rincon last January. The location is ideal -- walking distance to bars and restaurants but far enough away to get a quiet night's sleep. Access to Pools Beach from your doorstep, easy parking, and laid-back accommodations. Love this place, hope to return soon!

Angela Y. ....Sunny Perfect Sunset Beach Spot! Perfect home with such gorgeous beach views & direct access, unique character and in great condition. So many lovely different areas outside to hang out including the perfect balcony where we spend much of our time on when we were at the house. Can't believe this is the only house that has direct access to Pools Beach. Most of the time this beach is fairly empty. The beach has such great sunset views, people come out in droves to see it. Shortboard surfers surf here but we were warned not to longboard surf there. We heard how locals would take their little kids to play in the pools at pools beach but we were also warned by all locals how they don't go in because there are urchins there. Maybe locals take their kids there in the summers because when we were there the current seemed a bit strong over the rocks and coral. Either way we just walked to Sandy Beach 5 minutes down the road so we could surf. On Friday night Pools Bar did play loudly from 10pm to 2am. Once we closed all the windows and turned the A/C on, the sound was muffled enough to be tolerable enough and we were able to sleep. Basically one of the best direct beach access home we've found so far. We're definitely coming back!

Jessica L....Nice clean basic apartment/mellow beach! The apt is clean and pictures are accurate. It's within close walking distance of bars/restaurants and there is gated parking. One thing to note- Pools Bar is across the street and there was only 1 night where they held a live outdoor concert, so it was noisy that 1 night, but otherwise quiet and peaceful. Pools beach is right out in front, you can take a 5 min walk to Sandy beach on the back roads. The area felt very safe. Apparently the power goes out regularly - but the apt has a generator so you barely noticed. Property managers are very responsive and made sure i was able to check in/check out promptly, also quickly received security deposit back.

Leigh A. ... Beautiful home on the beach! I stayed at this Pools beach apartment for almost a week and had the most incredible time. The place and location are amazing - it's basically in the ocean. The balcony looks right out onto the most beautiful view and the private stairs go down to the beach. The whole place is very private, which is something that I particularly liked about the house and location. It is in very great location in terms of walking distance - you can walk to great bars and restaurants. And it goes without saying, surfing is incredible. Definitely recommend!

Al B....Beach Bums Paradise!  Love the location of the Whale Watcher, and Pools Beach has got to be one of the most chill spots on earth. As far as the apartment it has all you need. Some updates to the finishes could make it a bit more homie, but your time isn't really spent indoors. Will stay again for sure. Love it

Tom ....This is just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Pools Beach. The view from the balcony was just amazing...so amazing we often had trouble leaving our apartment! The location was the perfect mix of being close to the beach, remote, and yet close to many conveniences like good food and restaurants! Thanks for the great hospitality.  We hope to be back soon!

Marion & Darryl ....We truly enjoyed our week in paradise!  The accommodations were great.  Loved the sound of the waves at night and the delightful beach breezes.  Add into that equation the beautiful palm trees and you truly have a paradise hideaway.
